“Hi, everyone. … I would like for you guys to sponsor our Mozi Run so that it can help us with our education… Education is the key to our lives.”

These words come from Jeanette, a 17-year-old Grade 10 student at King of Kings School in Beira, Mozambique. Her heartfelt message captures exactly why the Mozi Run exists — to give children in Mozambique the education they need to shape their own futures.

About The Mozi Run 2025

The Mozi Run isn’t just another fun run — it’s a chance for the Gold Coast community to come together, enjoy a great afternoon outdoors, and support a life-changing cause.

Happening on Saturday, 13 September 2025 at 2 pm, The Mozi Run has something for everyone:

  • 👧 1.5km Kids Dash

  • 👟 3km Mini Mozi Run

  • 🏃‍♂️ 5km The Mozi Run

All entries include access to the 40m inflatable obstacle course, plus plenty of family fun with food, snacks, and activities at the finish.

Best of all, your participation directly supports Mission Educate’s Education Initiatives in Mozambique — providing quality schooling that helps break the cycle of poverty and open doors to opportunity.
