Knowing   Changes Everything

Transforming the lives of real people and their families through education

Through Education, They Can Change Their Lives

Around 80% of the people of Mozambique live in poverty. Mission Educate is on a mission to change this statistic through education. Changing the number means changing lives, families, communities, cities, regions, and nations. Through education, they can change their lives.

Meet the National Director of Mission Educate, Alford, year 12 science student Eliseu, Graça, the Primary Deputy of King of Kings School in Beira, Maria from the Mission Educate Technical Institute and one of our Literacy for Life Project students in this new video.

Rita Always Wanted To Be A Teacher!

My name is Rita. For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a teacher. I lived in a fog of hopelessness and despair. And then a glimmer of light appeared. I was given the opportunity to attend a course to train as a Pre-school assistant.

Grant from Australian High Commission in Pretoria

We were thrilled to receive a grant from the Australian High Commission in Pretoria to construct an under cover outdoor dining space for the trainees at the Technical Institute.

Who we are

Mission Educate is a registered Australian charity founded on Christian values, working internationally in developing nations to bring transformation and hope to people of all ages through our educational programs.

What we do

Mission Educate is working in Mozambique to provide educational opportunities for Mozambicans of all ages. We know that education is a catalyst that enables people to be released from the cycle of poverty. Each week we educate over 3000 people in the King of Kings School, Mission Educate Technical Institute and Literacy for Life program.

How You Can Help!

Your support impacts the lives of real people and their families by providing education opportunities.

We know that education is a catalyst that enables people to break free from the poverty cycle.

Your regular giving or once-only donation can help open a classroom door so children can attend school, provide vocational training and employment skills to unemployed young adults or enable illiterate adults to learn to read and write through our education projects in Mozambique.

You can bring hope where there has been despair for generations because knowing changes everything.
